Winchester beats St. Mary’s by 14 - 5  

The match got off to a slow start with the first basket coming 10 minutes into the game by St. Mary’s . Winchester quickly answered with a lay-up by Myra. The second quarter got off to a thundering start but St. Mary’s failed to score and at the half the scores were 5-1 in favor of Winchester, with most of the points coming off free-throws. The next quarter was very aggressive with a total of 9 fouls and the score at the end of third period stood at 7 – 3 still favoring Winchester. The fourth quarter also took an aggressive front with 3 fouls coming in the first couple of minutes. There was quick burst of 7 points by Winchester in the last 4 minutes with Tarlan scoring 4 points in quick succession.

The game ended with Winchester taking the match with a score of 14 – 5. Tarlan and Myra top scored with 4 points each.
