I.H.S WINS IN HIGH SCORING MATCH
I.H.S girls achieved a well-deserved win in a one sided game against St.Mary’s Dubai. Both teams were well supported by the enthusiastic D.P.S crowd. The final score was St.Mary’s 27 – I.H.S 61. Indian girls won the tip-off but St.Mary’s scored first with good lay-up, but I.H.S girls scored the first of many 3 pointers to make their presence felt.
Henna Megan, No.5 of I.H.S led the attack and top-scored with 32 points. St.Mary’s top- players were Nabila, No.8, and Nadine; No.15.The game was won for I.H.S after halftime when St.Mary’s failed to score the entire 3rd quarters.
I.H.S dominated scoring with well-taken shots from outside the arc and doubled teamed St.Mary’s during defense and grabbed many rebounds. St.Mary’s committed 13 fouls while I.H.S committed only 6 fouls.
