Inter-School English Elocution

The 33rd K.S.Varkey Inter-School English Elocution Contest was conducted in fond memory of their founder MR. K.S Varkey. Twelve Schools from United Arab Emirates took part in the contest.  It opened a platform for children to enrich their knowledge and strengthen their skills in English Literature.  

Shanzil Arshad of Sub Junior and Ananya Pramod of Junior participated in the contest. Ananya won Third place at the K. S. Varkey Inter-School English Elocution Contest held at Gems Our Own English High School. Ananya’s hilarious dialogue between father and son brought the house down, with her confident rendering of the grouchy father and the son. Her clever impersonation, voice modulation and voice overs stole the show.            

The evening ended with the vote of thanks and the prize distribution.
