Meeting Review
The members of the club read a short story called - The Lady or the Tiger? It took the students twenty minutes to read the 4 - page short story. After reading it, a discussion ensued. Students appreciated the story and especially the ending. Students gave the story alternate endings and discussed about how and why they would like the story to end in that manner.
After the discussion, a presentation on the children's book Rapunzel was shown. The various ways in which a story can be presented through Power point was discussed.
Each student was assigned to make a presentation on a fairy tale or any original story created by them.
The 15 stories that would be collected will then be copied into a CD and can be used by the Primary School students during their library/reading/story telling period to view / read and enjoy. A plan for the next session was formulated. The session was interesting and productive.
