The First Meeting
The students of DPS Sharjah are very sensitive towards the environment. HEAL is the step to teach our children how to be environment friendly.
In the first meeting on May 30th 2011 the students in the presence of the Eco advisor, the Principal, Mrs. Vandana Marwaha, Headmaster Mr Rajiv and Headmistress Mrs. Farah pledged to fight against the degrading environmental conditions and save the Mother Earth, followed by the unveiling of the Club Logo and Flag. The meeting was enriched by the concept of reuse and recycle.
While the girl students created their own beautiful candles by using old wax, the boys used their creativity and made various items with recyclable products like newspaper, mineral water bottles, cardboards, aluminium foils etc. The students involvement in the making is highly appreciated.
