We are collecting used and unusable electronic devices including cell phones, CDs, light bulbs, cell phones and rechargeable batteries; these items will be recycled and thereby kept out of the landfill! Electronics can cause much environmental damage when disposed of improperly: if buried, they may leak unwanted chemicals into the water table; when incinerated, these same toxins are released as gases, poisoning the atmosphere and contributing to global climate change. Our eco club heal has therefore placed several drop-boxes in strategic locations around the campus (they can be identified by the symbol above along with club logo). Use them!
The aforementioned drop-boxes can be found in the following locations:
- Outside the Headmistress Office
- Outside the Headmasters Office
- Outside Event Supervisors Office
- Outside Girls Supervisors Office
- Outside the Administrative Supervisors Office
